The newest version of Red Hat’s OpenStack cloud platform debuted this week, along with new partner momentum between Red Hat and Dell, which are collaborating on integrated server solutions for the open source cloud computing platform.
The collaboration centers on Dell Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Version 5.0. The offering pairs Red Hat OpenStack Platform 8, which the company released on Wednesday, with Dell PowerEdge servers, Intel Xeon E5-2600V4 processors and automation tools from Red Hat.
