Formulating a cloud strategy starts with the question: Why? It’s easy to make assumptions, such as we should be moving to the cloud. But assumptions don’t save you from cybersecurity risk or compatibility issues.
Instead, take a step back and look holistically across the business to understand the tradeoffs with hybrid cloud models, to understand who you serve, or who you might serve in the future, and to get a sense for the balance of flexibility, scalability, and security you need.
