A recent Infostor article, on the pros and cons of cloud storage hits some very important points. I’m not going to argue against a single one of them. There can be drawbacks to storing your files in a public cloud. For many companies, though, the positives far outweigh the negatives. These businesses are willing to deal with certain concerns in exchange for scalability, lower upfront costs, the ease of moving storage management offsite and other advantages.
